My Story

After earning my bachelor's degree, I began teaching full-time during the challenging Covid year while simultaneously pursuing my master's degree. I taught at a private Catholic school in Grapevine, TX. After that year, I transitioned to Dallas ISD, where I taught in one of their Montessori schools and worked toward my certification from the American Montessori Society (AMS), completing my coursework through the Shelton School. My husband and I eventually bought a house in Roanoke, TX, and I am currently teaching Kindergarten at a nearby public school while preparing for the opening of Blooming Minds Montessori Home in August 2025.
During my years in both private and public schools, I realized that children deserve more than what traditional education often provides. With 22 children in a classroom, excessive time spent on testing, and limited opportunities for individualized instruction, I knew there had to be a better way. That is why I decided to accept a maximum of 10 students for Blooming Minds Montessori Home. This smaller, controlled environment will allow children to receive a quality education where they can work autonomously and reach their full potential through the Montessori Method. Instead of waiting for the rest of the class to catch up or for their turn after 21 other students, they will thrive on a personalized learning track.
I am thrilled to provide your child with the no-screen, hands-on education that every young child deserves!
